Virumandi Movie Plot, Story & Review
The Virumandi story begins with a role and the dialogues of one activist named Angela Kathamuthu and her cameraman in the Prison of Madras. Angela is a Ph.D. student who enters prison to complete her projects of Ph.D. projects and covers the life story of any prisoner.
There she met Kothala Thevar (Pasaupathy). Kothala Thevar revealed his story behind spending his complete life in jail. When he began his story he says that the main reason for his imprisonment is a person name Virumaandi Thevar who use to be Happy-go-lucky Rogue. He tells the life story of Virumandi first. Kothala shares that Virumaandi falls in love with his young niece.
Kothala didn’t stop him to begin a love life with his niece because Kothala want to buy land owned by Virumaandi’s grandmother. Later Viruaandi Grandmother dies and Kothala offers money to Virumaandi for his grandmother’s land. But, he rejects the offers and they both become enemies.
He went to Kothala partner Mr. Nayakkar village to take revenge where Kothala gang arrives to save Nayakkar and in this 24 lives are taken. Later, he saves Kothala by sharing a false testification in court so that he can marry his niece.
Then Kothala rejects marrying his niece with Virumaandi. From here they again become enemies and Virumaandi kills six henchmen and Nyakkar too. Later he got caught by police. And then he testifies against the Kothala gang and puts in imprisonment. While he also faces imprisonment.
Then from here Ph.D. student Angela also met Virumandi in jail and talked with him. Virumaandi then tells his part of the story to her and claims Kothala to be the man who spoiled his life.
