The original Malayalam movie was released under the banner of Mankind Cinemas by director Jeo Baby. But this time its Tamil version is directed by director R. Kannan. The remake version in Tamil is starred by actors Aishwarya Rajesh and Rahul Ravindran. The film story will show the struggle of married Indian women.

It is stated that this Tamil Version has the same story that is shown in the original Malayalam version released on 15th January 2021.
Sharing about the plot then actress Aishwarya Rajesh will play the role of a dance teacher who gets married to a character of actor Rahul Ravindran.
After getting married she begins following a normal routine of handling all the households job that is done by every homely lady in India. She cooks food for her husband, and parents-in-law and does other household jobs. But with a span of time, she began realizing that doing the household jobs is not making her happy and she needs to do a job.
But her husband’s family is a patriarchal family who believes that women in their family handle house jobs. She began to understand that her husband didn’t understand her needs. When she asks her father-in-law if she wants to do a job but he forbids her and states the reason that women handling the housework bring more prosperity to the family.
The character of Aishwarya Rajesh gets feds up when she came to know of her husband’s family thoughts regarding women’s menstruation period. She learns that her husband’s family believes that when she will get periods she will need to hole herself in a room on the floor, bathe in the river, and need to eat separately from other family members. She is also not allowed to go to the temple during her period.
During her menstruation cycle days, she hears on TV that the Kerala court has ordered that menstruation is not an impurity and that women should be allowed to visit the temple. But still, her family doesn’t allow her.
And in the end, she gets fed up with injustice and left her husband after throwing a dirty kitchen sink water on her husband and father-in-law. Then, in the end, she gets a job as a dance teacher and her husband gets married to someone else.
