She remained popular in 70′ and 80’s eras for signings songs like “I Thought of You Again,” “Love Has No Pride” and many others. Earlier in her old age, she also appeared in TV series and podcasts.

Susan got married to her ‘The Poppy Family’ pop group member Terry Jacks in 1967 when she was only 19 years old. Terry is also a popular singer and songwriter in Canada. He is now 78 years old and living in Canada.
It was Susan who first offered Terry to accompany her on her different stage performances and then later other pop group members were involved in the group.
Susan was 18 when he offered Terry Jack to perform with her as a guitarist. But years after spending time with each other they ended their relationship in 1973.

As we shared that Susan started performing when she was a toddler. In the year 1966 when she met Terry Jacks, she made a lot of public appearances by performing live in areas of British Columbia and Alberta.
Later Susan and Terry added another member to their group Mr. Craig McCaw. Along performing with her group Susan also gave many different solo performances on TV shows. Susan Jacks’s first solo song was recorded along with other popular singers Tom Northcott and Howie Vickers.
Then when Craig McCaw joined the group Susan paid a lot of attention to her newly formed trio and first named it “Powerline” and then “The Poppy Family.” Then after it in 1967 when Susan got married a new member was added to The Poppy Family and he was a turbaned man from India Mr. Satwant Singh. Satwant was a professional in musical Instrument Tabla.
The Poppy Family then gave a number of hits to the audience from 1968 to 1970. Susan’s group ended in 1970 and with Terry, she started releasing her solo songs and duet with Terry.
Throughout her long career journey, Susan gave many hit singles to her audience and her name has been listed in the BC Entertainment Hall of Fame on 27th June 2010.

Susan Jacks’s death news has been mourning the entire music industry in Canada. She died on 25th April at Surrey Memorial Hospital when she was getting treatment related to her second Kidney transplant which was yet to be executed before her death.
Let us tell you that it was not the first time that Susan was going to get a Kidney Transplant. Earlier in 2010, she got her first Transplant after her brother Billy Persklevits donated her Kidney to her.
Then after six years of her first transplant, she again got admitted to the hospital in 2016 due to life-threatening complications related to Kidney Failure but at that time she somehow recovered from the Infection. But now this time on 25th April 2022 she lost her life due to Kidney Disease.
