Beginning his wrestling Journey at CWE in 2015 Shanky’s life got changed. He got his name Shanky Singh as a CWE superstar. He was introduced to the world as a wrestler via the YouTube channel of CWE in 2016. In 2017 he began his journey for WWE after his name was announced for the WWE tryouts in Dubai. When he was in CWE he won the Heavyweight title Twice defeating fellow wrestlers of CWE.
Visiting Dubai he cleared his audition at the WWE tryout. After passing different WWE tryouts Shanky was finally selected to be a WWE superstar on January 2020. He was signed for a WWE contract along with other two Indian wrestlers.
The match that provided him fame among WWE fans was an 8-team tag team match that was played on 22nd January 2021. He teamed up with Giant Zanjeer, Rey Mysterio, and Ricochet to match against Cesaro, Dolph Ziggler, King Corbin, and Shinsuke Nakamura.
He first performed as a wrestler in RAW teaming up with Veer Mahaan and Jinder Mahal. But in 2021 he got drafted to Smackdown with Jinder Mahal. Whenever he enters the Smackdown ring he first does a few steps of the Punjabi Bhangra folk dance to tease his competitors. He has not won any title now as he lost his match against Ricochet for the WWE Intercontinental Champion held on 29th April 2022.
