Scam 1992 is a 10-episode long web series in which Pratik Gandhi, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Hemant Kher, and Chirag Vohra played a lead roles. The first episode title ‘Risk Se Ishq’ shows how Harshad Mehta learned to take a risk in life to become rich within a short period. The story begins by narrating that Harshad Mehta has done a fraud of 500 Crore.
Then story took the audience back to the ’80s which shows Harshad Mehta living in a middle-class family struggling for work. In another episode audience experiences that Harshad Mehta began learning the skills of the share market. He came to know how the market goes up and how it goes down. He began trading shares and earning a few bucks.
But it doesn’t satisfy him to fulfill his dream. He then plays a big game by purchasing some high-value shares. In a span of time, Harshad Mehta becomes rich and begins living in a high-value mansion and drives luxury cars of the 90s era. But still, his thirst to become the number one so-called ‘Big Bull’ doesn’t let him sit and do rest. He wants to become the king of the market.
When Harshad took a loan of 500 Crore INR, RBI governor conveyed to SBI seniors to keep an eye on his every transaction. Later Harshad got stuck in the Scam of 500 Crore INR. CBI and Media got involved in the investigation and then what happened, in the end, is all that you need to see in this series till the end.
