Richard Roat (born July 3, 1933, age: 89 years) was a TV and film actor from California. He remained a part of the entertainment industry from 1961 to 2009. After 2009 he stayed away from the camera.
He was known for working on some of the best movies and TV shows in America. Some of his famous shows which provided him with an identity of a legendary actor in the industry are “The Golden Girls”, “Days of our Lives”, “Murphy’s Law,” and many others.
As of now, Richard is now no more in between his. He left the world when he was passing in his 89th year of life.

Before appearing as a successful artist in front of the world Richard Roat did many odd jobs. He remained a stage manager for New York Cort Theatre in 1961. He then worked as Stage manager for John Golden Theatre, NY in 1962. While working as a Stage manager he also did acting in theatre stage shows.
After getting a lot of knowledge in acting Richard then switched to working in movies and TV shows. In 1962 he played the role of a character named Garlfield in the TV series “Car 54, Where are You?” and then kept on performing several roles with TV show directors.
In 1964 Richard Roat debuted as a movie actor by performing a short role in the movie “Babu 73”. Then after doing lots of TV shows Richard again appeared in the 1972 movie “House made of Dawn” in the role of District Attorney. Richard has added many credits for working as an actor in TV series. In his long acting career, he added 134 credits working as an actor. Besides working as an actor Richard also ran his business as an entertainment tax preparation for the last 50 years.
