Mekapati Goutham Reddy (born on 31st December 1971, age: 50 when died) was a South Indian Politician and a Minister for the Industries, IT, and Commerce sector under the rule of the Current Government of Andhra Pradesh. He has been working at this high position of his political career since 8 June 2019.
But the man with lots of experience in politics has died recently on 21st February 2022 due to cardiac arrest. He breathed his last at Apollo Hospital, Hyderabad where he was admitted after he suffered a Heart Attack. But he didn’t survive and left his friends and family behind him. Mekapati was born in Brahmanapalli Village of Nellore, Andhra Pradesh, and has spent his young age over here. He was the son of the former MP of Nellore Constituency Mr.Mekapati Rajamohan Reddy. Since his teenage, he was into politics due to his father working as a politician. He has learned skills to become a political leader from his father.
While getting young completing his schooling at a local school at Nellore he set his goal to become a minister. Then he went to the University of Manchester to get his degree. He from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom completed his Masters in Science in Textiles between 1994-1997 and returned back to India.

Mekapati Goutham Reddy Death Cause
The healthy and Fit IT minister of Andhra Pradesh died due to a heart attack on February 21, 2022. The news of his death has been flashed in media since he breathed his last at Apollo Hospital at Hyderabad. He got arrested for a Cardiac attack when he was at his home and somehow he was sent to Apollo Hospital where doctors declared him dead.
Despite many expert team doctors, they remained unable to save the Minister of Andhra Pradesh and Mr. Goutham left us all at the age of 50. He was declared unconscious and dead by doctors at 9:16 a.m.
After his death, that statement has been released by Apollo Hospital officials and they shared that
“Today morning Mr. Gautam Reddy 50/M was brought to Apollo Hospitals, Jubilee Hills in an emergency. He had collapsed suddenly at home. He arrived into our ER at 07:45 am and was unresponsive, not breathing, and in cardiac arrest on arrival,”
“He was unresponsive, not breathing, and in cardiac arrest on arrival. He received immediate CPR and advanced cardiac life support in our emergency department. CPR was done for more than 90 minutes. Despite our best efforts, he could not be revived.”
Since he was a great and highly followed Minister, the Andhra Pradesh government has decided to keep two days mourn due to the demise of Mr. Goutham. He has recently returned to Hyderabad on Sunday after visiting Dubai for 10 days for Expo 2022.

Reddy being passionate about Politics has participated in different political matters since he has completed his master’s in the UK. He followed his father’s footsteps and kept himself active in Indian politics and learned many things for years.
In 2014 his fortune shined when he got the SRCP ticket from the Atmakaur Assembly constituency situated in Nellore District. He competing at this seat got the credit to his side and won the election. After becoming a Member of Legislative Assembly for Atmakaur constituency in 2014 he worked well during his tenure of 5 years. And in 2019 he was again elected for the same seat as the member of the Legislative Assembly from Atmakaur constituency.
