Toxic Shock Syndrome & Golden Legs Story
In October 2012, she felt the sudden flu and after the checkup, it came to know that she is diagnosed with Toxic Shock Syndrome (TSS). TSS is mostly caused by the tampons used by ladies during menstruation. Tampon releases some toxic bacteria which develop in the bloodstream.
After TSS, she faced kidney failure and 2 heart attacks too. Doctors have clearly said that there is only a 1% chance of her survival. She went to Coma for around one and a half weeks. After getting consciousness, she realized that her right leg has been amputated and her left foot has been cut off.
She felt so disheartened. Lauren said in an interview that she lost her identity as her hair was shaved too. She also thought to end her life. Her mother was a big supporter in her hard times. In 2018, her left leg was also cut off. She didn’t lose hope and decided to do something better in her life.

Lauren Wasser was just 4 months old when she began modeling along with her mother. In her school and college time, she decided to pursue her career in basketball as she was a good player. Later, she decided to become a famous model like her mother.
