Joshua has killed his friend in upmarket Hales Barnes, Cheshire on March 2, 2019. Joshua’s friend Yousef Makki was a scholarship holder who earlier got a scholarship that has helped him to attend Manchester Grammar School costing £13,380 for one year.
Yousef was stabbed by a knife and had a 12 centimeter deep cut in his chest right at the area where the human heart is located. However, during the trial of Joshua, he was cleared from murder and manslaughter as he claimed that he stabbed Yousef Makki just for self-defense.
Later after the judicial decision, he was sentenced to imprisonment for 16 months under the possession of a knife and perverting the course of justice by telling lie to the police on the spot of the incident.

When the incident happened Joshua was interrogated by a police officer and he asked him what happened. In reply to it, Mr. Joshua Molnar shared that he was around the corner when the killing happened. Later he said that people responsible for Yousef Makki’s killing ran away in a silver hatchback.
Police then saw the CCTV footage and another friend was found inside the video named Adam Chowdhary along with Joshua. Police saw them arguing with each other.
Later Jury found Molnar guilty and even Adam Chowdhary. Manchester Crown Court Jury got the information that on the day of Yousef Makki’s death three teenagers had argued in an underground car park of a supermarket after doing shopping in Manchester shopping center.
When the footage was played in front of the Jury Molnar was seen blaming the attack on someone who fled in a silver hatchback car. This footage is now also added in the Channel 4 documentary series Killed By A Rich Kid.
Ending the trial Joshua was announced for 16-month detention and training order for possession of a Knife in a Public Place. He was also sentenced to imprisonment for the course of justice as he spoke lies to the police at the scene.
Later in February 2020, he was released after 8 months of detention. He then again appeared in court when police found IPhone in his bedroom. This IPhone is said to be robbed earlier in a violent mugging.
Even he has been sentenced to imprisonment but there is still no evidence that Molnar was actually involved in the killing.
