John Waluke (born b/w 1962-1963, age: 60-59 years) is a politician and Member of Parliament from Kenya. He remained famous for his work as a politician in Kenya for Sirisia Constituency. Due to his great political career he many times got involved in political controversy.
In 2020 an allegation was issued against him stating that he has done fraud of Sh297 million in a maize deal with the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB). He was found guilty in 2020 under this lawsuit and now in 2022, he surrenders in front of a Judge to spend his next year of life in Jail.
Who is John Waluke?
John Waluke is a member of the Parliament in Kenya. He has also served as vice-chairperson and as a former military man. He was serving as a Member of Parliament on behalf of the Jubille Party before surrendering himself to police in Nairobi on 6th October 2022. Milimani Law Court judge Esther Maina has released an order for Waluke will pay a Sh1 billion fine or serve 67 years in jail for fraud.
He was found guilty of doing of fraud involving Sh297 million in a maize deal with the National Cereals and Produce Board (NCPB). John will lose his parliamentary seat if he fails to appeal against the decision of the court.

John Waluke has stated on his Facebook account that he was hometown is Sirisa, Western, Kenya. But in our research, we found that he grew up in Yabeko, Bungoma County. After completing his schooling he went on to help his family financially and did his first job as a driver to the late Mathew Wakhungu, husband to Grace Wakhungu. Grace Wakhungu is former Vice President Moody Awori’s sister and Professor Judy Wakhungu’s mother.
Then he left his job with the Wakhungu family and became a military man after getting admission to the military. He served there for a few years. He never discloses why he left the Kenya Defence Forces.
In 1992 he began performing as a Personal Aide to Wetangula. He remained in service for Wetangula till 2007. John Waluke maintained a good friendship with Wetangula. But later he competed against the Wetangular for Sirisia’s seat but lost against him.
He is now 60 years old. Now 60 years old John completed his school in 1978 at Yabeko Primary School and Sirisia Secondary School. He then had his diploma in marketing management in 1998 from the Kenya Institute of Management. John also had a higher diploma in business management from the Kenya Institute of Management in 2008.
After he became an MP he didn’t lose his interest in studies and grabbed his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice System degree from MT. Kenya University in 2016.
