Hugh McKean (born October 27, 1967, age: 55 years when died) was a politician from America. He was working in the position of the Minority Leader of the Colorado House of Representatives. He was a member of the Colorado House of Representatives District 51st.
He was working in this position since January 17, 2017. He was all set to re-appear for the re-election of the Colorado House of Representatives which is going to be held on 8th November 2022. But his tragedic death changed everything. Hugh McKean was a member of the Republican party.

He died after facing a cardiac arrest. After his autopsy report appeared in the media it got confirmed that his reason for death was cardiac arrest.
He died naturally. Before his death, he complained about pain in the left side of his chest. But his pain became worse when he was present in his house and it later pain took his life. When he began feeling the pain he called his partner Amy Parks who visited immediately Mckean’s Residence. She called an ambulance and sent him to the hospital where he was declared dead.

Beginning his service as a political leader Hugh first served on Loveland City Council. He then provides services at a New Vision Charter School Board. He provided his assistance to the Thompson School District Master Planning Board.
In 2016 he won the Colorado House of Representative election with 60.72 percent votes representing his Republican Party. He defeated Tom Lucero and Jody Shadduck McNally during this election.
