Holiday (2014) is an Indian film in the Hindi language. The full name of the film is ‘Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty’. It is of action and thriller genres. It is directed and written by mutl0talented filmmaker named A. R. Murugadoss. As per the official sources, this film is the remake of the Tamil film Thuppakki (2012) which was a major hit.

Holiday Movie Plot and Spoilers

Akshay Kumar portrays Virat Bakshi, a secret Indian Army unit, in this movie. On vacation, he goes back to Mumbai, where he lives. His parents rush him to see Saiba Thapar (Sonakshi Sinha), whom they wanted him to marry, as soon as he arrives. She is rejected by Virat on the grounds that she is out of his league and antiquated. Saiba, on the other hand, is a professional boxer with an entirely contemporary outlook. When Virat sees her during a boxing match, he immediately falls in love with her.

One day, he and a friend who is a Sub-Inspector of the police were traveling in a bus. When a passenger reports that his wallet has been stolen and witnesses a bomb explosion that has killed innocent people, they were pursuing a man whom he views with suspicion. A terrorist by the name of Ajmal Lateef, Virat is successful in capturing him. With the assistance of a crook from the police, Ajmal Lateef was able to flee the hospital.

Virat kidnaps Ajmal once more, questions him to find out who the police mole is, and then he makes the police mole, corrupt ACP Ashok Gaikwad (Gireesh Sahedev), kills himself.
