Edava Basheer (born 2 December 1943 – died 28 May 2022; Age: 78 years) was a well-known playback singer, musician, and media face from Kollam, Kerala, India. He was popularly known in the country for his amazing voice and beautiful singing. He used to sing Malayalam songs mostly.

Also, he created a music troupe named ‘Kollam Sangeethalaya Ganamela’ to teach the kids. In addition to this, he has also sung several Hindi songs and has collaborated with many other singers as well. The titles of his songs included Marubhoomiyamee, Rahamathukal Niranjoru, Manjaninjeemanal, and many more.
