In an interview with India Knowledge Network, Tanu tells that after completing her internship, she starts preparing for Civil Service Examination. Exam preparation cannot be done in 2 or 3 months but years are required to pass it. One needs to be the focus, discipline, and above all able to sit for hours for studies.
She gave her first prelims exam in 2012 and qualifies exam in 2014. After the interview, she was allocated to Armed Forces Headquarter Service. She said that it was an amazing journey because she made so many friends during preparation, who are now allocated in different sectors.
Currently, she serves the position of Assistant Director at Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO). She has given a total of 6 attempts and she qualifies for the exam on the third attempt. IAS Tanu Jain also helps the aspirants through online guidance.
