Biography

Disha Jha was born on 8th March 1988 (age: 35 years, as of 2023) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. She is the only child of Prakash Jha and Deepti Naval, who got married in 1985 and divorced in 2002. She grew up with her father in Mumbai, while her mother moved to New York. She has two half-siblings from her father’s previous marriage, Priyaranjan Jha and Paridhi Jha. She also has four grandparents, Uday C Naval and Himadri Naval from her mother’s side, and Shri Tej Nath Jha and his wife from her father’s side.
Disha studied in a boarding school in Panchgani, Maharashtra, named Sanjeevan Vidyalaya till high school. She was interested in arts and literature from a young age and participated in various cultural activities and competitions. She finished her graduation from IGNOU with a Bachelor of Arts in Delhi.
