The movie begins with conflicts and fights between the character Bhakla and Birju. They both use to live in the same village Mahuabhata. They use to fight over land which may belong to them. But accidentally one-day character Birju dies after he falls on a plow. But many say that Bhakla has killed him. And when the village panchayat judges the death reason of Birju they found Bhakla guilty but they leave him just because he is a family man. Panchayat and villagers with mutual consent declare that a lonely man Ganjha living in the village has killed the Birju. After which Ganjha gets life imprisonment.
But what happens next is that makes the story more interesting. You will be amazed to know that Ganjha got released from jail. But how? then let us tell you that when Ganjha use to be in jail a senior jailor observe his habits and living style which provides him an idea that a person like Ganjha can not be a murderer.
So the Jailor applied case in the court in which Ganjha is given clean chit and all the villagers are found guilty of hiding the truth. But later all the villagers raise a court case against Bhakla who use to fight with Birju. Bhakla has the habit of saying the word “Hao”(yes.) Villagers know about the plant called “Bhullan Kaanda” which makes people forget things. Taking the benefit of his Bhakla habit of saying ‘hao’ and Bhullan Kaanda plant villagers won the case in the court and Bhakla is announced guilty. He got punished with the death penalty.
