He was very well known for his amazing work, researches, and making Ayurveda globally popular. Reportedly he passed away on August 10, 2021, in a private hospital named Dinanath Mangeshkar in Pune.
According to the sources, Tambe was suffering from a long-time illness and was admitted to the hospital. At the time of his death, all his family members were present by his side. Further, his body was cremated on Tuesday evening. Prime minister Narendra Modi and various well know personalities paid their tribute to the demised soul.
