Anil Chauhan joined the Indian army in 1981 in the 11th Gorkha Rifles. He is a very wise man and has fought his every war with immense courage. He spends 4 decades of his life in the Indian Army and serves the nation. He has also served in counter-insurgency operations in various regions including Jammu & Kashmir and Northeast India. He also served as a major general in Baramulla and commanded an infantry division of the Northern Command.
In 2018, he executed 2 major military operations as Director General Military Operations.
