Allister steps towards her working career in 1997 and then kept on stepping toward a successful career.
From 2004 to 2011 she served as a Deputy County Attorney for Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. While working in this position she handled the prosecution of bureaus like drug, gang, and Vehicular Crimes. She also got awards in categories like trial victories, MADD Awards for Prosecution in 2008, Volunteering 2008 & Fundraising 2006 & 2007.
Then next after all this in September 2011, she served as the Chief Presiding Administrative Law Judge at the Arizona Department of Transportation. In her career, Allister Adel worked in different positions including General Counsel at the Arizona Department of Child Safety, Executive Director at Maricopa County Bar Association, Chair of the Board of Directors at 100 Club of Arizona, and many others.
But in 2019 she was appointed as the first female prosecutor after Mr. Bill Montgomery resigned from her post. She won this position after a vote of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. She resigned from this post on 21st March 2022.

Five prosecutors stand against her and demanded her resign on behalf of wrong judgments, absence, and other issues. Then she finally resigned from her just before a few days her death on 21st March 2022.
