Aisha Sultana became the part of news media in June 2021, after a Sedition case has been filed against her. According to the sources, Aisha Sultana during a speech had called Praful Khoda Patel (Lakshadweep’s administrator) a bio-weapon against Lakshadweep people.
After this, BJP’s member and Lakshadweep President ‘C Abdul Khader Haji’ filed a Sedition case against Sultana in the Kavaratti police station.
