Abdelhak Khiame (born in 1958, age: 64 years) was a former cop and the head of Morocco’s Central Bureau of Judicial Investigations (BCIJ). He has served in Morocco’s secret service for a long time and remained loyal to his duties throughout his life. He was also the chief of the elite police unit specialized in counterterrorism in Morocco.
In his life, he has trained many battalions of police. He has fought against crime and terrorism throughout his life. But with a broken heart, we now feel the pain to share that Abdelhak is now no more in between the people of Morocco as he died on 23rd august 2022.

In the years 2004 Abdelhak Khiame began to serve as Chief of the National Judicial Police Brigade (BNPJ). Before his appointment in 2004, BNPJ faced a deadly terrorist attack on May 16, 2003, in Casablanca. Serving for almost 10 years in BNPJ Abdelhak got promoted to the position of chief in BCIJ. Under his leadership, BCIJ got another name “Moroccos FBI”.
He developed a great intelligence team in BCIJ that supported many international partners to tackle terrorism. Under Abdelhak’s leadership, BCIJ helped Spain in arresting one terrorist suspect. Abdelhak got the reputation as one of the most recognizable and revered Moroccan security officials. He got these honors due to his involvement in dismantling 80 terrorist cells and arresting more than 1200 suspects that were having connections with ISIS and many other terrorist organizations.
When Abdelhak was serving in BCIJ, Morocco got the title of the world’s safest country. His leadership in security forces helped the country to develop trust with many partner countries’ security forces.
