The new Twitter boss Elon Musk has said that a new Twitter policy is freedom of speech but not freedom of reach. Negative or hate tweets will be Max D boosted and de-monetized to no ads or other revenue to Twitter.
Musk informed on his Twitter account, adding that you won’t find the tweet unless you specifically seek it out, which is no different from the rest of the internet.
Twitter has been witnessing mass resignations after Elon Musk gave an ultimatum and demanded the staff of the microblogging platform chooses between being extremely hardcore and working long hours or losing their jobs.
Musk also the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX bought Twitter for a whopping $44 billion in October of 2022. He has been heavily criticized for radical changes and the social media company hence after he took over as the CEO of Twitter.
Elon Musk is an innovative person, and he’s known for his innovative experiments and various kinds of changes he is likely to bring about on Twitter, already you are seeing that he has come out with a new policy.
And also, he is of the view that he is a supporter of freedom of speech. But he’s not supported up to freedom of reach what he says that any kind of thing, which could be termed as fake news, or some kind of propaganda, or any kind of negative messages, he would not like to see going through his Twitter platform.
So I think he’s doing several changes to the Twitter platform. But at the same time, I know when this process is going on, and this transition phase is going on, then certainly it has created various uncertain scenarios for many Twitter users, including the various Twitter employees, are top executives, as well as many advertisers they have left the platform.
So at this point, I think a transition phase is going on, where a new leader of Twitter, Elon Musk is doing a lot of experiments, but the till the time things stabilize, I think you will see this kind of uncertain pace, continuing.
