Sagar Rana Murder: Delhi Police Issues Look Out Notice Against Sushil Kumar Wrestler
New Delhi, May 10, 2021 – The Delhi Police has issued a lockout notice against Sushil Kumar, the wrestler. A lookout notice has been issued against the Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar who is absconding after 23-year-old Sagar Rana was beaten to death during a brawl at Chhatrasal Stadium. That’s the latest we are getting from Delhi look at notice that has been issued against the controversial Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar.
Remember, days after a 23-year-old former Junior national champion Sagar Rana was beaten to death during a brawl at Chhatrasal Stadium parking area. The victims injured in the clash reported their statements before Delhi police yesterday and claim that 2-time Olympic medalist Sushil Kumar was involved in the incident. The police yesterday remember said that they recorded statements for the victims and they made allegations against Sushil Kumar.
They also said that an FIR has been launched of Murder abduction criminal conspiracy, and the police of course are conducting raids right now to nab Sushil Kumar. The victims remember also alleged that Kumar in his associates abducted Sagar from his house in Model town to teach him a lesson so to speak, for bad mouthing him in front of other presence. Raids are being conducted by the police on the outskirts of Delhi in Haryana as well as Uttrakhand to nab Kumar who is currently absconding.
I have a bit of a background on the case on Tuesday remember Sagar Rana who had completed in the 97 kg Greco Roman category was beaten to death in clash involving two groups. Now Rana was a former Junior National champion and is a part of the senior national camp. A statement by Police also says that we found during investigation that a coral had allegedly taken place between Sushil Kumar and Sonu, Sagar as well as Amit and others in the parking area of Chhatrasal Stadium.
Police recorded the statements of all victims during which they said that Sagar and some of his friends including injured Sonu Mandal is a close associate of gangster Kala Jatheri was staying in a house linked to Sushil in the other state. The case is of course very serious against him. The charges are very serious.
Sushil Kumar the entire matter seems to be of him being involved in someone’s murder. The individual who’s been murdered, his fellow wrestler is a young 23-year-old wrestler, what we’re hearing the entire matter seems to be that the young wrestler was one of the disciples and also the tenant of Sushil Kumar, but has the other wrestler could not pay up the rent Sushil through him out of the house.
The victim was thrown out of the house he started bad-mouthing Sushil in the community who then sent a couple, three or four other of his friends and his disciples to beat him up. And when they beat him up, one of them hit him on the head with a stick, which led to his immediate death which is of course made Sushil also a party to the death of the victim. And that’s exactly why the police are looking out for Sushil Kumar who’s now of abscond and it’s been a few days that he’s been absconding.
