Suvendu Adhikari has now raised objections against Mamata Banerjee’s nomination papers. The former Mamata’s aide and BJP’s candidate from Nandigram, Suvendu said that Mamata is hiding facts. This is pertaining to certain cases that were filed against Mamata Banerjee.
The latest charge coming in from Suvendu Adhikari, who has been the former aide of Mamata Banerjee and the main opponent in Nandigram where both Suvendu Adhikari and Mamta Banerjee will be fighting that election. But the latest charge coming in is that Suvendu Adhikari is now raising objections against Mamata’s nomination papers that have already been filed by her in Nandigram.
The battle for Nandigram is certainly going to be fierce. All eyes are on the seat of Nandigram where both the Suvendu Adhikari and Mamata Banerjee will be coming face to face from the respective parties of BJP and TMC. Mamata Banerjee is already has left her seat from Bhowanipore and fighting from Nandigram to face Suvendu Adhikari.
Suvendu Adhikari, the BJP candidate from Nandigram has written to the returning officer of the Nandigram assembly constituency and raised objections to the affidavit that Mamata Banerjee has filed essentially saying that in the affidavit that Bengal Chief Minister has failed to mention the six cases which have been listed under her name.
Suvendu Adhikari was talking about the cases which have been filed against her between 2008 and 2018 in his complaint. Out of those six, only one is in Kolkata, the rest of them are in Assam. So that’s a bit of a big thing that while Mamata Banerjee is a state of action in Bengal on five of the six cases are from Assam.
That’s something on which perhaps the Trinamool was focus on or address or respond. What is important is that according to Suvendu Adhikari these five or six criminal cases up under various sections of the IBC including 120 D 153198, essentially about causing enmity between two communities filed in Assam and Geetanagar issue in various police in allover Assam.
She has failed to mention them in her affidavit. So this is the limited complaint made by Suvendu Adhikari against Mamata Banerjee who is contesting against Suvendu Adhikari from Nandigram.
