SAD President, Sukhbir Singh Badal Booked For Flouting COVID-19 Guidelines
Bathinda, April 30, 2021 – Shiromani Akali Dal President, Sukhbir Singh Badal is among five people booked for violating COVID-19 protocol at his Bhatinda residents. A large number of people gathered at Badal’s residents compromising all COVID-19 protocols. This comes at a time the state government has banned all political events amid a spike in cases in the state.
When the state is facing 138 deaths in the last 24 hours. And even in such a situation such as a responsible Member of Parliament and Shiromani Akali Dal President, Sukhbir Singh Badal, he’s holding a political event as his native place in Bathinda district.
This was the celebration event that they have appointed a student organization of India’s president, Arshdeep Singh Robin Brar. During his appointment, several people have gathered at his residence, and in fact, he was addressing them, instead of telling them to disperse to maintain the social distancing not to hold the political rallies and events.
Sukhbir Singh Badal was addressing those people, those youth, and celebrating that moment. That is a fact that just months ago, Sukhbir Singh Badal himself was tested positive, and he was admitted to the hospital. And he has just recovered from that situation and vaulted the process of holding the political rallies in Punjab. And now all of a sudden, this celebration is very important of that appointment, rather than to maintain the COVID protocols in Punjab.
When everybody knows that every single life is on the state who is not maintaining the social Decepticon not wearing the mask. That is very surprising even taking strict action police have booked Section 188 of IPC has been imposed on the five people and certain unknown also. Just because now we are trying to identify the people. But the point is that police action is not sufficient the people have to understand and even such political leaders will not understand the situation. How the normal people will understand?
They are putting several lives on the state for this political event. Nobody knows how many people turn positive from that event. Nobody knows how many people are symptomatic of that event. And they are not wearing masks, even they are not maintaining the social distancing. This is very much visible in the videos also. And this happened inside Badal Bathinda’s residence in the village. This is very shocking and very surprising till time our politicians don’t understand the seriousness of the situation. Things will not be going to improve.
