India’s Popular Actor Who Played Lord Ram Arun Govil Will Campaign for BJP

On March 18, 2021, it was announced by the BJP that television actor Mr. Arun Govil joined BJP in the poll elections 2021. Just days before Assembly elections in four states and a union territory the actor Arun Govil who played Lord Rama in the iconic 1987 television show Ramayan has now joined the BJP.
However, it is confirmed that he will not contest the elections. A statement was given by the BJP that he will only campaign for BJP. With this move, the parties seem to be trying to aim for right-wing voters in the states where elections will be held which is going to start on the 27th of March 2021.
During a rally, the actor Arun Govil said that he wanted to give his contribution in the progression of India. He wanted to use the platform in order to serve his country and spread great messages across allover India.
