Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Jain Writes To Centre For More Vaccine Shots

Delhi 8 April 2021 – Delhi has written to the Center for more vaccine shots. Delhi health minister has gone ahead and said the Delhi stock for 4 to 5 more days and the central supply of slow vaccination process, but the truth is that the number of vaccines is decreasing in central hospitals. So, after Maharashtra, Delhi is now of course witnessing a shortage in vaccines is what the Delhi government is seeing.

The Delhi government has gone ahead and returned to the center and asked for more COVID vaccine shots. Delhi Health Minister Satyendra Kumar Jain went ahead and said that the Delhi stock is only going to last for the next 4 to 5 more days and that the center alleges a slow vaccination process but the truth is that the number of vaccines is decreasing in central hospitals.

Maharashtra, of course, is one of the states that is witnessing a shortage of vaccines. There are two districts in Maharashtra that have gone ahead and stop the vaccination drive because of the shortage of vaccines this time around. Delhi’s health minister is coming out and saying that Delhi is also witnessing a shortage as far as the vaccines are concerned.

Maharashtra government stated that only two days of the vaccination has been left. Now it’s after Maharashtra it’s Delhi now, it’s written to the Center for the extra vaccination. And they have clearly stated that vaccination is decreasing in the central government hospitals and the letter was written by Satyendra Jain (Health Minister of Delhi).

It has been clearly stated that there is 30% to 40% vaccination in hospitals of the center, due to which the average of vaccination in Delhi come down. Currently, the stock is just limited to four to five days. Satyendra Kumar Jain also stated that Delhi should fight together these days. The central government is alleging that the vaccination is decreasing in Delhi. So, we can also say that because of the hospitals or the central government, the vaccination has reduced.

There is a 30 to 40 percentage of the vaccination, which is still there, and this is the reason the percentage has decreased. Satyendra Jain also mentioned in his letter that it should not be left out too many people who have done it 35% have been in 30% has been reduced in several hospitals. But, Arvind Kejriwal was the first chief minister who wrote to the central government and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to revoke the age cap for the vaccination for different people across the National Capital, he stated that for more than 18+ each individual should get vaccinated.

We could inoculate every individual in the next three months. But now, as the stock has been decreased, the letter has been written to provide more and more stocks as the 24X7 vaccination drive is already going on into the National Capital.

There are 34 vaccination centers in Delhi. And, the 24X7 vaccinations drive has already been started by the Delhi government in different hospitals. It was also the preparation by the Delhi government to increase these vaccination centers. But as the stock has been limited, now, it is reduced to 30% to 40%. And only three to four days have been left. It is the urge of the Delhi government to ask the Center for providing more vaccination stock.

Remember, it’s a very important crucial meeting that the Prime Minister is going to take place to hold the Chief Ministers of different states and union territories and the major focus will be on the vaccination drive itself to provide more and more stocks tend to revoke the age gap. This issue will also be raised by the Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal to Prime Minister Narendra Modi today in all crucial meetings.
