Dhanush’s starring movie Velaiyilla Pattathari (2014) is an Indian film in the Tamil language of action, comedy, and drama genres. This movie shows that Raghuvaran (acted by Dhanush) has a graduate degree in Civil Engineering. Although he is a graduate, he is unemployed for more than 4 years. The main reason for his unemployment is that he became adamant that he will do a job in his own field only. Raghuvaran also has a lot of disputes with his dad who considers him irresponsible.

However, Raghuvaran fell in love with a neighbor girl named Shalini and confessed to her as well. One day, he was told by his dad to take care of her mom who is not well, as his dad was going out of the station for work. On the other hand, Raghuvaran went on a date with his girlfriend. At that time, his mother has a heart attack and she tried a lot to call Raghuvaran, but he ignored all the calls.

Let me inform you that the shooting of the film ‘Velaiyilla Pattathari’ started in August 2013 and was wrapped in May 2014. It is produced by Dhanush under the production house of Wunderbar Films. The film got released on 18 July 2014 in the theatres. The distribution rights are acquired by Wunderbar Films, Escape Artists Motion Pictures, and Kalasangham Films.

The work of cinematography is done by Velraj and the editing department managed after by Rajesh Kumar. The film includes a lot of hits and amazing songs.
