Chaar Sahibzaade (2014) is an Indian film in the Punjabi language. It is of drama, history, and animated genres. It is directed and written by a talented filmmaker named Harry Baweja, who hails from Ludhiana, Punjab, India. The film is related to the Sikhs’ gurus’ history. It is based on the sacrifice of the sons of the 10th Sikh guru Guru Gobind Singh named Fateh Singh, Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Jujhar Singh, and Zorawar Singh. This film shows that Mughal Empire invaded India. Afterward, the 9th Sikh guru named Guru Tegh Bahadur ji sacrificed his life for the freedom of religion of Kashmiri Pandits and to save their rights. Later, the tenth guru named Guru Gobind Singh ji founded ‘Khalsa’ to tackle the invaded force and also saved the martyrdoms of the people and other gurus. It depicts a lot of wars including the Battle of Chamkaur, the Battle of Anandpur, and many more.
Afterward, Guru Gobind Singh ji and his four sons named Sahibzada Ajit Singh, Sahibzada Jujhar Singh, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh, and Sahibzada Fateh Singh served their lives in saving the people and ended their lives. The film also went emotional when Sahibzada Ajit Singh and Sahibzada Jujhar Singh were killed during their battle of Chamkaur. Additionally, Sahibzada Zorawar Singh and Sahibzada Fateh Singh were sections of the city’s wall alive.
