Twitter Restores M. Venkaiah Naidu’s Blue Tick Verified Badge after Few Hours of Removal
New Delhi – Twitter has now restored the Blue verified badge on Vice President of India M. Venkaiah Naidu’s personal Twitter handle. This, of course, has been restored after earlier today Twitter had removed the blue verified badge from the Vice President of India’s Twitter handle.
And now, However, what we’re learning is that the badge has been restored on the vice president M. Venkaiah Naidu’s Twitter handle. There was an incident that took place that showed that the blue tick that we have on Twitter handles to verify them, that blue tick had been taken off of the Vice President’s Twitter handle.
This, of course, is a worrisome incident, the fact that Twitter removed the verified blue badge from the Vice President’s account and then restored it within a couple of hours.
Our Resources and according to Twitter that we have got to know is that the personal Twitter handle of Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu was unverifiable because of inactivity.
And according to Twitter, the account has been inactive since July 2020. But now the verified badge has been restored. And the sources also tell us that the handles of other RSS leaders will be restored soon.
From the sources, we have got to know that the IT ministry is anguished with Twitter for removing the blue badge from M. Venkaiah Naidu’s personal Twitter handle. They said that appropriate action will be taken against Twitter.
And we need to understand that when can Twitter remove the blue tick Twitter can remove the blue verified badge and verified status of a Twitter account holder at any time and without notice, people may lose the blue tick or badge if they change their account name or the handle if the account becomes inactive or incomplete, or if they are no longer in the position.
They initially were verified for such as an elected government official who leaves the office and they do not otherwise need Twitter criteria for verification. And Twitter has already said that because the personal account of Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu was inactive since July 2020. Because of that, it was unverified but at this particular point.
It should have given some notice because it’s the Vice President’s account. And the sources also tell us that the IT ministry is going to take strict action against it.
Well, there are several RSS leaders whose accounts have been unverified and from the sources, we get to know that these handles of the RSS leader will be restored soon. We’ll find out some of the names of the RSS leaders whose accounts have been unverified.
But right now, the sources tell us at Twitter had come up with a statement that because of the inactive of these accounts, it will be also cross verified by the IT ministry so we have to wait for the official response of the IT ministry regarding the entire scenario. But the sources have told us that the IT ministry is anguished over this incident, and they will be taking action against Twitter.
