Maharashtra State Govt Extended Lockdown Till June 15

Mumbai – Alright, so the lockdown has been extended in Maharashtra till the 15th of June. This has been announced by minister Rajesh Tope. Now, of course, several states start to go back into lockdown after seeing that there is of course still a spike in cases although India has overall seen a slight relief in cases. Maharashtra has now extended its lockdown till the 15th of June. Now, Maharashtra minister Rajesh Tope has, of course, announced.
See in the extension again, it continues that local trains won’t be functioning for local people, local transport will be limited. It will be continued that in private hospitals and government hospitals, a limited percentage of people will be allowed as enrollment authorities in the governor’s office.
Only 15% of the authorities will be their employees will be there whereas in private 30% will be allowed. Apart from that if you talk about the market. Then, of course, there is a suggestion which has come in that the hours in which the market used to remain open that is from 7 am till 11 am that will be extended but no confirmation has been given.
A social distancing and of course wearing masks have been made compulsory. There is no extension when it comes to charging penalties, because last time as well when the lockdown was declared and was extended, then the charges were not wearing mask was Rs. 200 which were extended till Rs. 500.
So, at this point, no such decisions have been taken. But the government here has said the way Maharashtra is recovering on daily basis, there will be some relaxation which will be given to people but in different phases.
Looking at the situation right now, it seems that the government will notice first of all in the first one week after providing as some relaxation authorities to people who weren’t here and if that will continue that the cases will remain to fall then of course more relaxation will be provided. But night curfew is something that will be constant over here in this lockdown as well.
And after 7 pm time, no one will allow to travel without any right reason on the roads and also not allowed to travel. Meanwhile, talking about Maharashtra only government authorities are allowed while having a valid reason to travel within Maharashtra without any passes, whereas local people will not be allowed unless and until they have any written proof and if there is any medical or any other emergency like the situation then only people will be allowed to move in within Maharashtra.
It has not been made compulsory for the people who are entering from other states to Maharashtra when it comes to having the RT-PCR report or antigen test and nothing has been made clear on that basis. But the first extension which has taken place this 15th of June will continue the way it is going on relaxation phases will be announced very soon.
