Panaji – Goa’s Curfew has been extended by another week and the curfew has been extended till 31st of May at 7 am. The additional restrictions imposed in COVID containment zones are also going to remain in force. Any person contravening the order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and section 51 to 60 of the Disaster Management Act 2005. Coronavirus cases seem to continue to arise in Goa and as a result of which the curfew has now been extended for yet another week.
COVID curfew in South Goa has been extended for another one week and now this COVID curfew which has been extended it will be revealing till 31st of May at 7 am. Now, the additional restriction imposed on the COVID containment zone shall remain in force. If you see the history of Goa for the past one month we have seen how people from the entertainment fraternity show Goa out to be their favorite spot to go and shoot when Maharashtra had closed their shooting permissions and canceled all the shooting permissions.
Every person from the entertainment fraternity, let it be Film, Ad or TV shows, web series everyone hopped across to Goa for their shooting purpose, but now, this can be one of the reasons that you know South Goa majorly a phased spike in COVID cases and hence the extension for one more week has been imposed. In any person traveling or wandering this order shall be punishable under Section 188 of the IPC section 5160 in the Disaster Management Act.
Now they have made sure Goa multiple cooperation and also Goa authorities have made sure that people do not flout COVID norms in Goa as cases are rapidly increasing and hence, such measurements and steps are taken to curb the COVID cases. And talking about Goa now we see that COVID cases are still being reported in high numbers in majorly in South Goa and then other parts of the country.
