Tral – A BJP leader and Municipal councilor was shot dead by terrorists on Wednesday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district. Now, Rakesh Pandita was at his friend’s home in Tral, Pulwama area when three terrorists barged in and opened fire, according to sources in the police.

They’re in the Tral last late night, he survived with his son as well as a wife and a mother. And definitely family is in mourning. And now because he has been targeted by the terrorists.
This is not the first incident of such kind when Terrorist targeted the civilians and the political activists in Kashmir, but definitely, this act of the terrorists raises many questions on the security in Jammu & Kashmir, because we are seeing that definitely, that the government is doing so many things and the situation is coming to the normalcy.
But if these political activists are not protected, what about others. No doubt that he has been provided security by the Jammu & Kashmir police, but terrorists reached the Tral, they were having information that he is there and then they kill him.
