New Delhi – After Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan called Baba Ramdev’s statement on allopathic medicines extremely unfortunate and asked him to apologize. The Yog Guru issued an apology on his official Twitter handle. Baba Ramdev does his contentious statement on allergy medicines and in the letter, Baba Ramdev wrote that he is not opposed to modern medical science and allopathy. They believe that allopathy has made a lot of progress in the life-saving system and assigned to surgery and has served humanity.
He also mentioned errors in any medical system should not be taken as an attack on that method and that he is not at all opposed to science. Now, earlier union health minister Harsh Vardhan called Baba Ramdev’s statement on allopathic medicines extremely unfortunate and did ask him to withdraw his statement on allopathy.
On Saturday, the Indian Medical Association also had said that Ramdev’s claim that allopathy is stupid science and medicine such as invasive fatty flu and other drugs approved by the DCGI have failed to treat COVID-19 patients.
The association had cited a video circulating on social media. So, Ramdev’s extremely contentious statement was of course out there on the internet for everybody to see. It created an absolute Haberkorn storm not only on the internet, not only on social media but also as far as the government distance as far as medical health professionals are concerned.
Especially keeping in mind the fact that it is a pandemic that we are going through and statements such as allopathy is stupid science could affect the broader good of the nation, the broader goal of the nation, which is to combat and fight to Coronavirus.
So the union health minister of course has also gone ahead and put out a strong statement saying that Baba Ramdev’s statement is extremely unfortunate and did ask Ramdev to issue an apology which Baba Ramdev has now gone ahead and done via his Twitter handle.
Baba Ramdev withdrew his contemporary statement on Allopathy medicines in this letter that Randy wrote. Very strong statements, very strong words of caution have been issued to Baba Ramdev, who now has gone ahead and issue an apology stating that he of course has full faith in Allopathy and that modern medical science and surgery have helped to serve humanity and save lives.
