Reliance Becomes Largest Producer Of Medical-Grade Liquid Oxygen in India

Jamnagar, May 1, 2021 – Reliance now has airlifted nearly 24 ISO containers or shipping containers for transportation of oxygen that has now created an additional 500 metric tons of transportation capacities for India. Reliance has also confirmed that more ISO containers will be airfreighted over the next few days. That is a decision for now.
That has been taken by the chairman Mukesh Ambani, who is personally supervising the scale of production at the transportation centers there in Jamnagar where we are looking at Reliance applied over 15,000 metric tons of medical-grade liquid oxygen free of course. This is Reliance Industries that which is ramping up production of medical-grade liquid oxygen from near zero to 1000 metric tons per day that is free of charge.
As corporate India steps up to do everything that they possibly can, you know, we’ve seen how in different parts of the country, you know, different companies and corporate conglomerates coming together to you know, step up, you know, the oxygen supply. Reliance, one of the industries that are trying to release resources on a war footing to become India’s largest producer of medical-grade liquid oxygen from a single location. And I think most of the operations are, you know, being centered in Jamnagar.

And we have been told that, as of this minute Reliance producing over 11% of India’s total production of medical-grade liquid oxygen meeting the needs of nearly every one in 10 patients. But there are some statistics that we’ve just picked up on from the news agencies, and from a statement that has been issued by Reliance Industries. Also about Chairman Mukesh Ambani personally supervising the scale-up of production and transportation at Jamnagar.
In April 2021, Reliance having supplied with 15,000 metric tons of medical-grade liquid oxygen free of cost, helping nearly 16 lakh patients. Now, ramping up the production further, from near zero to 1000 metric tons per day free of charge, 1000 metric tons of oxygen will meet the needs of over one lakh people every day on average is some of the statistics that we’ve received.
