Coronavirus 5 Most Affected Indian States – Maharashtra, Kerala, Punjab, Karnataka & Gujarat due To Covid-19 in March 2021

Maharashtra’s battle against Coronavirus continues to worsen. The state registered a staggering 11,141 COVID cases on 7 March 2021, Sunday alone. Breaking in almost five months record and is the highest number of corona cases since October last year. Earlier, India has beaten China as far as Covid vaccine supply number.
On the other hand, Maharashtra has also recorded 38 deaths because of the virus, leading the death toll to increase to 52,478. Mumbai reported 1300 fresh cases, while the division of the city including the Mumbai city and satellite cities added 2493 new infections.
Aurangabad local administration has imposed a partial lockdown from the 11th of March onwards. The lockdown will be imposed from 6 am to 9 am during the weekdays, on weekends there’s going to be a complete lockdown.
So apart from Maharashtra, four other states are reporting many, many new cases and accounting for almost 85% of the total case tally in the country. Maharashtra to begin with active cases stand at 99,205, recoveries are over 20 lakh deaths at 52,478.
The other state Kerala that continues to be news for the wrong reasons when it comes to the pandemic. 41,062 active cases and the recoveries at 10,31,865 and deaths at 4300. Punjab is a state which has been in fact in news also and the centers concerned about the increase in cases.
These are the active cases there are over 7000, recoveries over 1,74,967, and deaths at almost 6000. Karnataka active cases at 6881 and deaths are over 12,362. Gujarat again, certain districts major concern the center has an entity in there also active cases at over 3000 recoveries are at 2,65,831 and deaths at 4450.
