Spoiler Alert of Loki Season 2 Episode 7 & 8

If you have not watched Loki Season 2 Episode 6 yet, you might want to skip this section, as it contains spoilers for the previous episode and some speculation for the upcoming ones.

Loki Season 2 Episode 6 ended with a shocking twist, as Loki and Sylvie finally reached the end of time and met the man behind the TVA, He Who Remains. He revealed himself to be a variant of Kang the Conqueror, a powerful and dangerous villain from the comics who has mastered time travel and conquered multiple timelines. He offered Loki and Sylvie a choice: either take over his role as the keeper of the Sacred Timeline or kill him and unleash a multiversal war. Loki wanted to accept his offer, but Sylvie was determined to kill him, believing he was lying and manipulating them. After a brief fight, Sylvie kissed Loki and then pushed him through a portal back to the TVA, before stabbing He Who Remains in the chest. As he died, he said “See you soon” to Sylvie, implying that his other variants would soon emerge and wreak havoc across the multiverse.

Meanwhile, Loki returned to the TVA and tried to warn Mobius and Hunter B-15 about the impending chaos, but he realized that he was in a different timeline, where the TVA was ruled by a statue of Kang the Conqueror. Mobius and Hunter B-15 did not recognize him, and he was left alone and confused.
