Like Flowers in Sand Season 1 Episode 5 and 6 will continue the story of Baek-du and Yoo-Kyung as they face various challenges and obstacles in their ssireum career and their relationship.
In episode 5, Baek-du will be arrested by the police for being suspected of stealing money from a convenience store. He will be interrogated and accused of being the culprit, even though he is innocent. Yoo-kyung will try to prove his innocence and find the real thief, who turns out to be someone close to Baek-du. Meanwhile, Jin-soo will challenge Baek-du to a ssireum match for the role of coach, but the match will be interrupted by the police.
