After spending Christmas together in their swapped bodies, Jess and Bill Walker are ready to return to their normal lives. However, they soon discover that they are not alone: another family has also experienced a body switch due to a freak accident involving a mysterious device. The Smiths are a wealthy family of four: Dad Richard and Mom Laura; their son Ethan; and their daughter Emma. They find themselves in the bodies of Jess and Bill’s children CeeCee and Wyatt respectively.
Jess – now in CeeCee’s body – has to deal with her crush on her soccer coach while trying to keep her grades up at school. Bill – now in Wyatt’s body – has to cope with his fear of heights while pursuing his dream of becoming an astronaut.

Family Switch Season 1 Recap
Season one of Family Switch consists of one movie that covers the entire story arc of the family switching bodies. The movie begins with Jess having a stressful day at work where she has to present her latest project to a potential client or she will lose her job opportunity. She also has to deal with her daughter Cece being distant from her after she stopped making family videos for Christmas.
Meanwhile, Bill is preparing for his son Wyatt’s soccer game where he hopes that Wyatt will get recruited by Yale University. He also has to deal with his wife Jess being annoyed by his nagging about their family traditions.
The family decides to visit a planetarium where they break a telescope while trying to take pictures of the stars. The next morning, they wake up in each other’s bodies: Jess is now in Cece’s body; Bill is now in Wyatt’s body; Miles (the baby) is now in Pickles (the dog); and Mrs. Walker is now in Ms. Jones (the teacher).
