Is Noel Gallagher Gay? Sexuality Of English Musician Revealed

Noel Gallagher, the former Oasis guitarist and current High Flying Birds frontman, is one of the most influential and outspoken musicians of his generation. He has sold over 75 million records worldwide, won numerous awards, and been involved in several high-profile feuds with other artists and his own brother, Liam Gallagher. But what about his personal life? Is Noel gay? What is his sexuality? Here is what we know.
Noel Gallagher’s Marriages and Relationships
Noel has been married twice and has three children. His first marriage was to Meg Mathews, a publicist and interior designer, whom he met in 1994. They married in 1997 and had a daughter, Anais, in 2000. However, their marriage was short-lived and they divorced in 2001. Noel later claimed that he only married Meg because she was pregnant and that he was not in love with her.
Noel’s second marriage was to Sara MacDonald, a Scottish public relations executive, whom he met in 2000 at a nightclub in Ibiza. They started dating in 2002 and had two sons, Donovan, born in 2007, and Sonny, born in 2010. They married in 2011 in a private ceremony in Hampshire. Noel and Sara seemed to have a happy and stable relationship for many years, until they announced their separation in January 2024.

Noel revealed that their marriage started to collapse during the Covid-19 lockdown as they simply ‘grew tired of each other’. He also said that Sara was ‘furious’ with his constant partying and that he had contracted Covid twice. He described their divorce as a result of a ‘midlife crisis’ and said that he knew many people in the same situation.
Noel has also been linked to other women in the past, such as singer Louise Wener, actress Patsy Kensit, and model Kate Moss. However, he has never confirmed or denied any of these rumors.

Gallagher’s Views on Sexuality and Same-Sex Marriage
Noel Gallagher has never publicly identified himself as gay, bisexual, or anything other than heterosexual. He has always maintained that he is straight and that he loves women. However, he has also expressed his support for the LGBTQ+ community and same-sex marriage on several occasions.
In 2015, he gave an interview to Rolling Stone magazine, where he talked about various topics, including same-sex marriage issues that were being debated in US courtrooms at the time. He said:
I don’t give a fuck what anybody does. Whatever you want to do in life, as long as you don’t hurt anybody, I don’t give a fuck. If you want to get married to a fucking goat, I don’t give a fuck. If that’s what you’re into, knock yourself out. It’s none of my business.
He also said that he was not homophobic and that he had many gay friends. He said:
I’ve got a lot of gay friends. I’ve got a lot of gay people who work for me. I’ve got a lot of gay fans. I’ve got a lot of gay people who buy my records. I’ve got nothing against them. I don’t understand it, but I don’t need to understand it.

He also joked that he would not mind if his sons turned out to be gay, as long as they were not fans of One Direction, a boy band that he despised. He said:
If either of my sons said they were gay, I’d be like, ‘That’s cool, man. As long as you’re happy.’ But if they said they were One Direction fans, I’d be like, ‘You’re fucking out of the house. And don’t come back.
Noel Gallagher is not gay, as far as we know. He is a straight man who has been married twice and has three children. He has also dated several women in the past. However, he is also a supporter of the LGBTQ+ community and same-sex marriage. He believes that everyone should be free to do what they want in life, as long as they don’t hurt anyone. He is a musician who speaks his mind and does not care what others think of him.
