Idaho Stabbing News: Classes Resume at the University of Idaho After 4 Students’ Deaths

Idaho, November 28, 2022:- Classes are resuming at the University of Idaho this morning, after two weeks, where four students were murdered at that campus. Police still have not named any suspects and the death of Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kaylee Goncalves.
Students have arrived back on campus since the holidays but they are still left with questions and nearly no answers. The entire town of Moscow is on edge since the four students Ethan Chapin, Madison Mogen, Xana Kernodle, and Kaylee Goncalves were found murdered.
Now as of right now, Police say they’ve sifted through more than 1000 tips. They’ve conducted more than 150 interviews but they have yet to uncover the suspect or the knife believed to be used in the attacks. Police also say two other stabbings in the northwest area miles away from Moscow are not believed to be related to the Idaho murders.

One of those stabbings dates all the way back to 1999 in Washington, the other from last year and Oregon. Now in the last two weeks police in Moscow Idaho have received 78 calls about Unusual Incidents 38 requests for welfare checks. That number is up from eight teen in October.
The four students who were found stabbed to death on November 13 in an off-campus apartment. Police have said there is no threat to the public. But they have also backtracked on that statement, telling the community and students to stay vigilant.
However, law enforcement officials have insisted This is a targeted attack. But when asked why do they believe it’s isolated they say the information is sensitive to the case. $1 million in emergency funds have been released by the governor of Idaho to help with this investigation.
Meanwhile, the University of Idaho is hosting a candlelight vigil this Wednesday to honor the four students murdered.
