Satish Kaushik (born on 13th April 1956, age: 66 years when died) was a great Indian Actor, Director, and Screenwriter. He was quite famous for his work in Bollywood movies. He was a good friend of actors like Anupam Kher, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Sanjay Kapoor, and many other legends of Bollywood. He began his acting career in 1982 and since then he got the chance to work with almost every popular actor in Bollywood.
Satish was known for his acting in movies like Saajan Chale Sasural, Deewana Mastana, Aunty No 1, Haseena Man Jaayegi, Aa Ab Laut Chalen, Baaghi 3, and many more. He also worked in TV shows like Sumit Sambhal Lega, The Great Indian Family Drama, etc. Satish directed his first movie in 1993 titled Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja after which he remained popular for directing many movies with popular Indian actors. Just after one day of celebrating the festival of Holi with his close friends on 8th March 2023, Satish Kaushik left the world on 9th march 2023. He died after suffering from a heart attack when he was present in Gurgaon.
His death news was confirmed by one of his close friend’s actor Anupam Kher. Anupam wrote on social media that Satish Kaushik died due to a heart attack when he was traveling in a car. His body was sent to Mumbai where his family followed death rituals.’

Satish Kaushik’s remarkable career in acting began in 1982 when he joined the Indian Film industry after practicing for years in theatre. He was in his 20s when he started getting fame as an actor in Bollywood.
Some of his notable movies in which he played legendary roles were “Mr. India”, “Deewana Mastana”, “Udta Punjab”, “Namaste England”, and many more. As a director, he added more than 18 films for which he performed as director.
He directed Salman Khan’s “Tere Naam” in 2003 for which he got nominated for Filmfare Award For Best Director, and IIFA Award For Best Director. He also got nominated for Scree Award For Best Director in 1999 for directing Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain.
Aheading in his career he won Screen Videocon Award as a co-writer and an anchor of the TV countdown show “Phillips Top Ten”.
