Recap
The fourth episode of Solo Leveling, titled “I’m Used to It”, aired on January 27, 2024, and continued the events of the third episode, where Jinwoo and his fellow hunters entered a high-ranking dungeon to clear it. However, they soon realized that the dungeon was a trap, and they were surrounded by powerful and vicious monsters.
Jinwoo, who was assigned to guard the entrance, witnessed the massacre of his comrades and was left alone to face the boss of the dungeon, a giant statue. He tried to escape, but the statue blocked his way and attacked him. Jinwoo was severely injured and almost killed, but he managed to activate his hidden quest, which gave him a chance to survive.
The quest required him to kill all the monsters in the dungeon within 10 minutes, or he would die. Jinwoo accepted the quest and used his last strength to fight back. He discovered that he could see the stats and levels of the monsters, as well as his own and that he could gain experience and loot from killing them. He also realized that he had a mysterious voice in his head, called the System, that guided him and gave him instructions.
Jinwoo quickly adapted to his new situation and started to kill the monsters one by one, using his skills, items, and tactics. He also leveled up and increased his stats, becoming stronger and faster. He managed to clear the dungeon and complete the quest, just in time before the timer ran out. He was rewarded with a new skill, called “Stealth”, that allowed him to become invisible.
Jinwoo then faced the statue again and used his stealth skill to sneak behind it and stab it in the neck, killing it. He was surprised to find out that the statue was a living creature, and that it had a human-like face. He also received a huge amount of experience and loot from the boss, including a rare item, called the “Random Box”, which contained a random reward.
Jinwoo opened the box and received a golden key, that unlocked a hidden door in the dungeon. He entered the door and found a secret chamber, filled with treasure and a mysterious tablet. The tablet had a message, written in an ancient language, that only Jinwoo could read. The message said:
“Welcome, Player. You are the first and only one to clear this dungeon. You have proven your worth, and have been chosen by me. I am the Architect, the creator of this dungeon and the System. I have been waiting for you for a long time. I have a proposition for you. If you accept, you will gain a power beyond your imagination. If you refuse, you will lose everything you have gained so far. The choice is yours. Do you wish to hear my proposition?”
Jinwoo was shocked and curious by the message and decided to hear the proposition. The episode ended with a cliffhanger, leaving the viewers wondering what the Architect had to offer, and what Jinwoo would choose.
