What happened in previous season 7?

The exercise was designed to test and improve the students’ quirks, teamwork, and combat skills. The exercise also introduced a new character, Hitoshi Shinso, a student from the General Studies Department who wanted to transfer to the Hero Course. Shinso had a quirk called Brainwashing, which allowed him to control anyone who answered his questions. He proved to be a valuable asset and a potential hero, as he helped Class 1-A win the exercise.

The Meta Liberation Army arc followed the events of the My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising movie, which was set between the Joint Training arc and the Meta Liberation Army arc. The movie showed the Class 1-A students working as temporary heroes on a remote island, where they faced a group of villains led by Nine, a powerful user of multiple quirks.

The movie also revealed that Nine was a test subject of the League of Villains, who were experimenting with All For One’s quirk. The movie ended with Midoriya and Bakugo defeating Nine, and All Might revealing that One For All had not left Midoriya’s body, despite him seemingly passing it on to Bakugo.

Ending Explanation of Season 7

The ending of My Hero Academia Season 7 was a cliffhanger, as it showed the aftermath of the battle between the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army. The ending showed Shigaraki standing victorious, holding the severed hand of Re-Destro, and declaring his new name and goal: to destroy everything.

The ending also showed the heroes preparing for their counterattack, as they received a tip from Hawks, a double agent who infiltrated the Paranormal Liberation Front. The ending also teased the arrival of a new threat, as the doctor activated a mysterious device, which awakened a sleeping figure, who was revealed to be All For One, who had transferred his consciousness to Shigaraki’s body. The ending left the fans in suspense, wondering what will happen next in the Paranormal Liberation War arc.
